Saturday, August 26th, the parking lot was filled with the sites of classic cars, the smell of a BBQ cookout, and enjoyable music. SkillsUSA hosted their first Cars & Crafts event. Outside was a car show that featured 44 vehicles for spectators to check out. Inside was a craft show with many great vendors and treasures to be found. If you were hungry, you could enjoy grilled hamburgers and hotdogs provided by Dayspring Bank, while Huskeradio entertained with music and interviewed SkillsUSA members live on the air. In addition to raising funds for the SkillsUSA program, there was a canned food drive or free will donation that went toward the NPHS Food Pantry.
